MAX BITTER - Crescent City - 4oz
Our version of the iconic Creole Bitters made famous in classic New Orleans cocktails. A medley of classic baking spices, hibiscus, cranberry, Asian herbs and spices, lemon peel, and bitter roots and barks combine for a supple and savoriness to all classic cocktails including Sazeracs, Vieux Carre, and La Louisiane.
Recipes
Sazerac:
2 oz rye whiskey or cognac
1/4 oz sweetener (such as C&S Oleo Saccharum)
4-6 drops Max Bitter Crescent City
absinthe rinse
Chill rocks glass and rinse with absinthe. In a mixing glass, add spirit, sweetener, and Max Bitter Crescent City Bitters. Add ice and stir for 5-10 seconds. Strain into chilled absinthe glass and garnish with an expressed lemon peel.
