MAX BITTER - Aromatic - 4oz
A medley of baking spices, dried herbs, coffee, cacao nibs, citrus, peppercorns & bitter roots & barks combine for a depth and complexity to all classic and modern cocktails including Old Fashioned, Sazerac and Manhattan.

Old Fashioned
2 oz aged spirit (whiskey, tequila, rum or gin)
1/4 oz sweetener (such as the C&S Spiced Demerara)
4-6 drops Max Bitter Aromatic
Add all ingredients to mixing glass with ice. Stir for five seconds and strain over fresh ice into a rocks glass. Garnish with an expressed orange peel.
Black Manhattan
2 oz aged spirit (whiskey, tequila, rum or gin)
1 oz Italian Amaro (Averna, Montenegro, Braulio)
3 drops Max Bitter Aromatic + 3 drops Max Bitter Citrus
Add all ingredients to mixing glass with ice. Stir for five seconds and strain into a coupe glass or over fresh ice into a rocks glass. Garnish with an expressed orange peel and/or brandied cherry.
Queen's Park Swizzle
2 ounces demerara or aged rum
1 oz lime juice
3/4 ounce simple syrup (we suggested C&S Mint & Lemon Verbena)
4-6 drops of Max Bitter Aromatic
8-10 mint leaves
Add all ingredients minus bitters to cocktail shaker with ice. Shake hard for five seconds and strain over crushed ice (pebble-style) into a Collins glass. Garnish with a freshly smacked mint sprig and the bitters drizzled on top of the ice.
