Whiskey Sour
The Whiskey Sour has to be one of the most misunderstood cocktails out there. For years, people dismissed it because sub-par sour mixes using high fructose corn syrup and artificial flavoring agents. Personally, we love a good Whiskey Sour, and it’s even more sublime with a frothy egg white and a hefty spritz of lemon oil from a twist.
- 2 oz bourbon
- .75 oz Cocktail & Sons Honeysuckle & Peppercorns
- .75 oz lemon juice
- Optional: egg white
Shake all ingredients in a cocktail shaker 5-10 seconds, or until sides are frosted. Strain over fresh ice into rocks glass. Garnish with expressed lemon peel.
Honeysuckle Gimlet
There is nothing so refreshing and beautiful as the humble gimlet. The pepper notes here compliment the floral notes of the gin for an infinitely crushable cocktail. Not a fan of gin? Try it with vodka.
