Ginger Honey (8oz)

$14.95

Cocktail & Sons Ginger Honey is our first new year round syrup since we started this company. It's a gorgeous union of two types of ginger - a classic ginger and the sharp citrus and pine note of galanga, or Thai ginger - blended with beautifully floral Louisiana honey and fresh lemon peels. It's a unique solution for any cocktail with a ginger or honey note like a classic Bee's Knees, Mule, or toddy.

Flavor profile:

  • fresh cut ginger
  • fresh Thai galanga
  • floral Louisiana honey
  • lemon peel

sugar, water, ginger root, galanga, lemon, honey, citric acid, and potassium sorbate (to preserve freshness)

Brown Derby

The Brown Derby, named after the same famous Los Angeles hat-shaped restaurant, was invented in 1930s Hollywood. Here, it benefits from the smooth pop of ginger heat.

  • 1.5 oz bourbon
  • .5 oz C&S Ginger Honey
  • .75 oz grapefruit juice

Add all ingredients to a shaker and shake for 30 seconds. Strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with a grapefruit peel, expressed.

Gold Rush

This cocktail was actually invented around the mid-aughts at NYC's famous Milk & Honey. But it has since become so popular that people often mistake it for a pre-Prohibition classic.

  • 2 oz bourbon
  • .75 oz C&S Ginger Honey
  • .75 oz lemon juice

Add all ingredients to a shaker and shake for 30 seconds. Strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with a lemon peel, expressed.

The Classic Hot Toddy

What would this list be without a classic toddy? Like a favorite sweater, we keep coming back to this recipe on the first cold night of fall.

  • 1 cup water
  • 2 oz whiskey of your choice
  • .75 oz C&S Ginger Honey
  • .75 oz lemon juice

Boil water and add to a mug with other ingredients. Garnish with a lemon round and cinnamon stick. Stud the lemon with cloves if you're feeling fancy.
