Cocktail & Sons is the brainchild of husband and wife team Max Messier and Lauren Myerscough, award winning bartenders and spirits consultants based in New Orleans, LA. With a successful track record of producing notable cocktail programs in high-profile bars and restaurants, they decided to focus their culinary efforts towards revitalizing the forgotten concept of the home bar. They pulled out all of the recipes they had concocted over the years and worked in tandem to produce a line of all-natural and handcrafted syrups designed for classic cocktails including Old Fashioned, Daiquiri, Mojito, Tom Collins, Margarita, Gimlet and new fangled modern cocktails. In addition, the syrups could be used as base components for refreshing sodas.
The syrups are designed with simplicity in mind. All you need to build your own Tom Collins or Old Fashioned is a measuring device such as a jigger, a bar spoon, fresh citrus, bitters, booze, ice, and a glass. The syrups are easy to use for cocktail creations without a cocktail shaker. Your own Old Fashioned can be done up with a simple shake of bitters, ice, your favorite whiskey, and healthy splash of Cocktail & Sons Spiced Demerara syrup.
All of the syrups are produced with natural ingredients, local produce, and real sugars grown by Louisiana farmers - no additives, coloring agents, or artificial additives.
In addition to the line of syrups, the Cocktail & Sons website hosts a database of cocktail and soda recipes to enable everyone to explore and construct their own unique variations of imbibers and refreshing tipplers with the line of syrups.
